The future of Work trends are great to read. My issue is that for most readers, it remains just that - a read. Interesting and now, let's move on to the next thing. What tomorrow's workforce need to do is sit down and really look into the trends and see what it means for them as individuals. For example, Seth Godin identifies a number of roles that probably don't even have job titles yet, but will be mainstream roles in 5 years. How can one start preparing for one of these roles now?

Hi. Some really good advice in here. Finding the right career path can be tough, especially in a down economy. Whenever I hear stories of people who are truly passionate about what they do, and have really found their path, it always makes me sit up and take notice.

I couldn’t help but think of a story Danny sent us, about being financially successful but no happy in his job. He made the tough decision to leave and follow his dream and become a full-time musician.

A link to his video is below. I hope you like it. And if you do, give him a vote — winning videos will be featured in a Mutual of Omaha tv ad!
Thanks and have a great day.

Mike - the critical part of Danny's "aha moment" story is that he actually listened to that little voice in the back of his head and took action! The success of his subsequent career change is reflected in his glowing expression. BTW, I voted for Danny!
