Great tips! I am a gen Y and the job search was quite tough. I eventually found something in internet marketing but am thinking about going back to school to get an MBA.
Do you know of any resources to help find a good MBA school? I found Petersons.com and they have some great info on finding the right MBA Schools

There are definitely areas in which Gen Y'ers understanding of social media and online interaction are an advantage. In my view, most of these are in the online marketing area. So, if you're a Gen Y and into marketing, a little creative thought should get you a long way - there are plenty of opportunities.
